Doane College Mini Tech Fair Day

I am Brittany Hajek the District Instructional Specialist at Seward Public Schools.  I graduated from Doane College in 2007 with a mathematics degree and 7-12 certification.  I started teaching at Mission Middle School in Bellevue Public Schools.  I taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra to 8th grade students.  During this time I started my Curriculum and Instruction masters also through Doane and graduated in 2009.  After two years of teaching in Bellevue I left to return back home and marry my husband of 5 years now and teach at Seward Public Schools.  At Seward I taught 7th grade students Math 7 and Pre-Algebra.  During my time in Seward I completed my Educational Leadership Degree also through Doane.  I am now certified to be a K-12 principal.  I will be starting my 2nd year as the District Instructional Specialist in August and look forward to working with teachers and to continue to push them to be the best they can be and to continue to learn.  I will also be starting my Educational Specialist program this fall.

One of my passions when I was in the classroom and still now working with teachers is technology in the classroom.  I am here to share my knowledge with you and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
